Until I read this story, I had never considered that Buffy and Wesley could have any relationship beyond Watcher/Slayer. To be fair, I tended to dismiss Wesley's role in Buffy's world as anything but decorative. Minim Calibre changed my mind. This is a quietly moving elegiac tale of Buffy's life after she kills Angel. It is a road trip across an endless country that hits the right potholes for the wrong reasons. It is breathtaking, and it will leave you breathless.
