In "The Freshman", Xander tells Buffy that he spent part of his summer vacation in Oxnard where he washed dishes at The Fabulous Ladies Night Club. He then adds,"No one really bothered me or even spoke to me until one night when one of the male strippers called in sick and no power on this earth will make me tell you the rest of that story." Four years later, along comes Circe with a tantalizing tale that tells the rest of the story. It involves stripping (of course), a black deSoto,... and Spike.
