Minim Calibre introduced me to the unconventional pairing of Buffy and Wesley. While she's written other stories, this one still intrigues me with its bleakness. The saga unfolds in four parts, each more grim than its predecessor. Somehow, in the middle of the chaos and destruction that is the end of the world, these two people continue to seek each other. I'd like to say they search for solace and find love. Rather, I think they just find sustenance, and that is nothing like love or solace.
